ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara perkembangan bisnis UMKM populer dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Kualitatif. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Dari hasil klasifikasi terlihat dua klasifikasi yang dipetahkan oleh SVM yaitu data pada sebaran berwarna biru dan data sebaran berwarna kuning, dimana terdapat hanya 1 titik data yang sangat jauh melenceng dari batas soft margin kemudian untuk 4 titik merah yang juga keluar dari batas klasifikasi namun masih berada di batas soft margin. Ini menunjukkan bahwa proses klasifikasi SVM yang digunakan bekerja dengan baik. Dan untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi sangat dipengaruhi oleh meningkatnya jumlah omset dari UMKM yang besar artinya makin besar penghasilan maka kemungkinan peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi UMKM tersebut.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the relationship between popular MSME business development and economic growth in the city of Makassar. This study used qualitative research methods. The findings in this study indicate that from the classification results it can be seen that two classifications are broken by SVM, namely data on a blue distribution and yellow distribution data, where there is only 1 data point which is very far from the soft margin limit then for 4 red points which also come out from the classification limit but still within the soft margin limit. This shows that the SVM classification process used works well. And for economic growth it is strongly influenced by the increasing number of turnover from MSMEs, which means that the greater the income, the possibility of increasing the economic growth of these UMKM.
